Here’s a bunch of useful links which I’ll be adding to as I come across new ones.  There’s virtually an endless number of US resources and my suggestion would be to have a look at the two sites I’ve listed below as they seem to cover everything.

Hoagies Gifted Resources

What else can be said?  If it’s got something to do with being gifted then Hoagies probably has it.  Be warned, a parent new to the whole gifted child idea can lose themselves for days in this website.

The More Child

Switched On Mom has an awesome blog that is a mixture of general gifted issues, issues relating specifically to the school area that they’re in, and info about their 2 gifted girls and homeschooling.

This is the webpage of our educational psychologist and her colleagues.  I cannot recommend her highly enough to anybody who is serious about getting their child tested or for any other service that they may need.

• Gifted and Talented Children’s Association of WA (Inc) - The WA state association of parents, educators and other interested individuals who are committed to ensuring that children of high ability are able to achieve their full potential.
• NSW Association for Gifted & Talented Children Inc - Membership of the association is available to all interested individuals, groups and institutions. Comprehensive site with information about the association’s aims and objectives, members’ library, resource packs, activities, camps, workshops, Gifted journal and many other links.
• Northern Territory Association for Gifted & Talented Children - An open association of people who share a common interest in gifted and talented children. This site is presently being built and will contain information about the Association and its objectives as well as resource materials to support families and schools related to the education of gifted learners.
